THE RECORD
What one approach pass captures.
A single free-flow pass produces one record, and this is its shape: images, identity, class, geometry and motion, all bound to the same event. Everything below is delivered through documented APIs — nothing is locked in a proprietary export.
Values shown are one illustrative event. Fields marked as an option are fitted only where a site asks for them.
What every crossing writes to GDS.
One free-flow pass produces one complete, time-stamped event record. Reads are guaranteed in free flow from 30 to 70 km/h, with no stopping and no tailgating required. What matters is a constant speed through the gate: accelerating or braking under the gantry is what costs accuracy, not the speed itself.

KPIs are the acceptance thresholds our deployments are contracted to meet — not lab bests. Vehicles outside the measurement envelope are still recorded; the contracted accuracy figures simply no longer apply. Rows marked optional are fitted only where a site asks for them — weigh-in-motion above all, which several of our approach gates run entirely without, and which is third-party equipment procured separately.
Operating envelope
Deployment footprint: gantry mounting with sensors at 5 m or higher, lane widths from 2.5 to 3.75 m, and one gate control PC per 2 lanes. Options: weigh-in-motion, OBU/DSRC reader, and dual-direction operation with wrong-way alerts.

Vidar is Adaptive Recognition's all-in-one ANPR camera — more than two decades of R&D condensed into a single weatherproof unit that images, decodes, and classifies vehicles on the move, with the Carmen engine running on board. One device covers up to two lanes, triggers itself, and streams finished reads straight to the Globessey Data Server.

Carmen's ADR module reads the orange dangerous-goods placards — hazard number and UN number — and ISO container codes straight off the approaching vehicle. Freight carrying regulated cargo is identified and routed the moment it enters the approach, so it never surprises the gate crew or holds up the vessel call.

The lane itself — its civils, its power, its steel and its screens — is procured and installed by you or your integrator, to your own standards and suppliers.
